Hello Black Diamond Vermicompost family! It’s been a while! Life has been unbelievably busy. We continue to settle into our new operation’s location in Templeton. The worms are happy and we are having the time of our lives. Spring has been a very exciting time with lots of worm castings going out to everyone planting their gardens, landscapes, and vineyards. Our liquid vermicompost extract volume has been awesome as well - our brewing system could barely catch a break the past 3 months. We GREATLY(!!!) appreciate everyone’s patience, as staying in-stock has been challenging with the Spring rush and our pause in production last year to pick up and move the worm bed. We are very excited to say that we are pursuing expansion of our worm casting production this Summer in preparation for 2027 and the future! We are invested in pushing soil health, soil function, and healthy food in San Luis Obispo county and beyond. We are actively doing tours by appointment only for single party or groups at our production facility. I want to remind that the location listed on our website is only a mailing address/office, so please don’t just show up there looking for us or the worm casting operation. I can also be scheduled to come out to give trainings on soil biology or biological growing practices for farming or gardening groups. Another update is that I am soft-launching my agronomic consulting services as Sovereign Soil Consulting. You can learn more here. The main gist is that I am extending my expertise on Biological Farming systems to growers for the pursuit of the production of nutrient dense food that is free from toxic pesticides and ecologically harmful practices. I am ready to provide - soil testing (mineral and biological), soil test interpretation and recommendation, fertility programs, foliar protocols, leaf sap analysis interpretation, product recommendation, input operational and cultural farming practices, and of course, I also have Black Diamond Vermicompost products to integrate.
